Energy and Climate Exchange series 2012: Energy Market Developments in France

This event was part of a Bruegel event series entitled: “Energy and Climate Exchange series 2012: member states energy market developments.” This is a monthly series in which panelists from a different member state present, each month, on the burning issues being discussed in their country.

Our aim is to facilitate exchange on the separate developments in the different member state electricity markets. We aim to facilitate a lively debate by including panelists from government, regulatory authorities, and academia. In addition, we attempt to address how the different developments in each individual national electricity market impact the goal of an EU single electricity market.

This event covered the energy market developments in France. Three panelists from academia, regulatory authorities, and industry presented to facilitate an active dialogue and debate.
