Tinne Van der Straeten
Minister for Energy, Belgium
Tinne Van der Straeten is Minister for Energy of Belgium. She served in the Belgian Federal Parliament (2007-2010, 2019-2020) before she became minister. In 2010 she co-founded Brussels-based law firm Blixt. A law firm specialized in energy law where she gained 9 years of experience in the energy sector. She has been a board member for many organizations, such as the King Baudouin Foundation and CAW Brussels.
Tinne Van der Straeten studied at UGent and VUB and has a law degree.
