With more than 20 years in international economic and innovation growth strategy, Laurent Probst, Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Luxembourg has always been concerned by the increasing skills gap in the economy and put a lot of focus on international skills policies.
Laurent is the co-author of the book “Upskill, a 6 steps approach to unlock an opportunity for all” describing best practices and proposing new solutions for a massive deployment of upskilling programmes for governments and companies. Laurent also developed successful coding schools for unemployed people to make them employable in three months.
Laurent led some of the most important EU and government international growth and partnerships programmes such the largest international partnership programme for 2500 EU tech companies in 10 sectors to enter 12 Asian markets, the international Blue Economy Investment Platform gathering a community of more than 300 innovative projects, 1200 investors and corporate members to invest close to $1bn and accelerate the growth of blue and green technologies and businesses.
Laurent also regularly advises European Institutions and government around the global on the development of world class enabling ecosystems for emerging sectors such as Artificial Intelligence New space, Cybersecurity or Low carbon economy.
Laurent obtained in 2021 the certificate of University of Cambridge Business and Climate Change curriculum: Towards Net Zero Emissions and the International Director Programme certification from INSEAD.
