Jorrit van der Meulen

Jorrit Van der Meulen has been at Amazon for 20 years and currently serves as the VP, EU Stores, managing Amazon EU stores.

During his tenure, he helped launch the Toys business and then spent five years managing Amazon’s Toys, Baby and Video Games businesses. He then created and launched “Amazon DVD by Post”, a UK based DVD rental service. In early 2005 Jorrit left Amazon to become part of the founding team of Zillow.com, a site focused on residential real estate in the United States.  Jorrit returned to Amazon in late 2008 to manage and grow Amazon’s suite of content sites including IMDb.com, DPReview.com and others. In October 2011 Jorrit joined the Kindle team as the head of Kindle EU, in Luxembourg. In February 2017, Jorrit expanded his remit to become head of Amazon Devices International.

Jorrit earned a BA from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
