In recent years, the Polish authorities have resolved several cooperative and commercial banks under the Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD) and with authorization of state aid from the European Commission. They have also fostered the creation of a voluntary Institutional Protection Scheme (IPS) that brings together the country’s largest banks. The session will be an opportunity to learn about this unique experience
