
Matteo Sostero

Matteo Sostero leads the project on Skills Intelligence at the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC), in the portfolio on Education, skills and employment for a fair twin transition. His research at the JRC analyses occupational task data and online job advertisements to understand labour market changes in terms of job tasks, as well as changing digital skills and working conditions. Together with colleagues of the JRC Employment team and Eurofound, he has produced widely-used occupational indices on telework. He holds a PhD in Economics, and before joining the JRC, worked at the Italian National Institute for Public Policy Analysis (INAPP).
