SIMPATIC First Conference

Social Impact Policy Analysis of Technological Innovation Challenges (SIMPATIC) is a collaborative research project involving nine institutions across Europe, coordinated by Bruegel and funded by the Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities Programme of the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union. The project runs from March 1st 2012 to February 28th 2015.

SIMPATIC brings together, for the first time, top class micro- and macroeconomics researchers with expertise in evidence-based research and innovation policy analysis. The objective of SIMPATIC is to provide policy makers with a comprehensive and operational tool box allowing for a better assessment of the impact of research and innovation policies in Europe. The first conference of the SIMPATIC project took place in Brussels in March 2013 and will include scientific sessions, policy sessions and meetings of the consortium members.
