Focco Vijselaar is Chief Economist at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. In the past he was director of the International Affairs Directorate at the Dutch Ministry of Finance and chairman of the EFC/EWG Alternates. Prior to joining the Ministry, he worked as an economist at the Dutch Central Bank and the ECB. He holds a degree in international economic affairs from the University of Mannheim and a degree in economics from the University of Groningen
