Antoine Foucher

Antoine FOUCHER is the Chief of staff of Muriel PENICAUD, the French labor minister. He is in charge of designing and implementing the overall labor and social policy, and manages the ministers’ advisors. Previously, he was Vice President at Schneider Electric France, Director for social strategy and social relations.
From 2012 to 2016, he was Deputy Director General for Social Affairs at MEDEF, the French largest business organization where he managed 4 business units (55 people). As such, he conducted several cross-industry negotiations (labor market, vocational training, unemployment benefit system). He also worked as Advisor for youth employment and mobility of Xavier Bertrand, former Minister for Employment and Labor between 2010 and 2012. Between 2007 and 2010, he was in charge of the labor market policy as well as the family policy at the social committee of the French Senate. He holds a Master’s degree in political science and public affairs. He also holds a Bachelor of arts and a Bachelor of philosophy.
