Agata Wierzbowska

Associate Professor, Kobe University

Agata Wierzbowska, a Polish citizen, is Associate Professor at Graduate School of Economics, Kobe University, Japan. She received M.A. in Finance and Accounting from Warsaw School of Economics and Ph.D. in Economics from Kobe University. Her research has mainly focused on empirical studies on monetary policy, mostly in the euro area, its effectiveness, transmission mechanism, and international spillovers. Her research interests also include problems of financial integration in the euro area, banking sector, and international finance.

She was the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship student from April 2011 to March 2015.
