Xiang Yu
First Secretary for commercial affairs, Chinese Mission to the EU,
Xiang Yu, First Secretary for commercial affairs at Chinese Mission to EU. He holds a joint Ph.D in political economy at Peking University, China and Waseda University, Japan. In 2005, he joined MOFCOM and afterwards he had been working in the department of policy research for years until he was dispatched to Brussels as a diplomat in 2012. He does research and writes extensively on foreign trade and investment issues and has been actively involved in public scholarly events on global economic governance, China-EU trade relations, as well as One Belt One Road in Brussels.
