
Toshiki Jinushi

Toshiki Jinushi (PhD in Economics, Harvard University, 1989) has been Chairman of the Graduate School of Economics, Kobe University since November 2014. He has been teaching at Kobe University for long time. He was a visiting researcher at Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Federal Reserve Board, National Bureau of Economic Research, Harvard University, and Oberlin College. He is a Board Member of the Japanese Society of Monetary Economics and the Japanese Economic Association. He is also among the Editors of the Japanese Journal of Monetary and Financial Economics(JJMFE).
He has published several books and book chapters and papers in academic and policy-oriented journals, mostly in macroeconomics and comparative economic systems issues, such as the US and the Japanese Monetary Policies and Comparative Financial Systems. He has also researched on the economic aspects of natural disasters, such as the 1995 Kobe Earthquake and the Great East Japan Earthquake.
