Ryuzo Miyao
Former Member of Board of Directors, Bank of Japan and Professor at Tokyo University,
Ryuzo Miyao is Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tokyo. His main research areas are monetary economics, macroeconomic policies, and applied time series econometrics. He received a B.A. from Kobe University and a Ph.D. from Harvard University. He previously served as Director at the Research Institute for Economics and Business Administration of Kobe University from 2008-2010 and a policy board member of the Bank of Japan from 2010-2015.
