Bernard Hoekman
Professor and Director of Global Economics, Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute (EUI)
Bernard Hoekman joined the European University Institute (Florence, Italy) in 2013, where he is Professor and Director, Global Economics at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. He is a CEPR Research Fellow; an associate of the UK Centre for Inclusive Trade Policy and has been a member of several World Economic Forum Councils. Prior to joining the EUI he was Director for International Trade at the World Bank. A graduate of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, he holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan.
