Since July 2022, he has been CEO of Invitalia.

From 2017 to 2023 he was the CEO of Mediocredito Centrale (Invitalia Group).

From 2011 to 2017, he headed Invitalia's Incentives and Innovation Business Unit, managing the portfolio of incentives, facilities and financial instruments to promote competitiveness and support business development.

From 2007 to 2011, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Invitalia.

From 2000 to 2007, he held positions in the financial and banking sector (Nuova Merchant, NEM SGR, Fondo Nuove Infrastrutture, Banca Nuova).

From 1997 to 2000 he worked at Mediocredito Centrale, where he was Head of the Organisation Office, the Participations Office and Deputy Head of the Planning and Participations Service.

From 1990 to 1997 he worked at Arthur Andersen, where he held the position of Italian Manager for Risk Management and Business Processes projects in the Finance Area and of Rome Manager for Corporate Finance projects for banking companies, Strategic Planning, Management Reporting, Management Control, Process re-engineering.
