Zichen Wang is Research Fellow and Director for International Communications at the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), a leading non-governmental think tank in Beijing since October 2022. Before that, he was a senior journalist for over 11 years at China’s state news agency, in China and Europe. He founded and edits Pekingnology and The East is Read, two most-subscribed English-language newsletters on current affairs in China from within China. Zichen has a Master in Public Policy from Princeton University.
