Vassilis Maragos is Head of Unit for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus & Eastern Partnership in the European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR).
Vassilis Maragos has studied law and political science and has been dealing with EU external relations and enlargement since the 1990s. He has worked in the EU Delegations in Sofia and Skopje and covered also aspects of enlargement policy for the European Commission in Brussels.
