She plays a pivotal role as a Steering Committee Member of the World Economic Forum 4th Industrial Revolution Center in Türkiye and has served as an Advisor to the Minister of Technology, contributing to the development of cutting-edge strategies and roadmaps. Her commitment to bridging the skills gap in the technology industry is evident in her efforts to promote inclusiveness and education. As the Country Manager at 42 Türkiye coding schools, Sertaç actively participates in initiatives that encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds to acquire coding skills and pursue careers in technology. Her leadership roles in academia-industry , including her involvement in the development of a Digital Transformation Assessment tool and a regulatory sandbox for Türkiye, have been instrumental in creating opportunities for tech innovation and experimentation.

Sertaç is a dedicated advocate for responsible AI technologies in low and middle-income countries. Her role as an Artificial Intelligence Fellow at The Atlantic Council highlights her outstanding leadership and dedication to empowering others through cutting-edge technology. Recognized as the "Women Leader Making a Difference with New Technologies" in collaboration with Microsoft Türkiye and the Habitat Association, she currently serves on the Board of Members at various associations.
