Sean Gibson

Sean Gibson, a British citizen, studied History at the University of Edinburgh before undertaking a master’s degree in Financial Journalism at City, University of London.

Sean was editor-in-chief of the Edinburgh edition of student newspaper The Journal and worked as a reviewer at the Edinburgh festivals, before co-founding the pan-European youth media website Pandeia with several ex-colleagues.

Prior to joining Bruegel in November 2017, Sean spent three years with the Telegraph in London, where he latterly worked on the Sport desk.

Sean is a native English speaker who can dabble in Spanish, is trying to learn French, and has aspirations of reaching beyond his basic level of Polish.
