Salvatore Serravalle

Salvatore Serravalle is a French civil servant, with an academic background on economy and statistics. He is deputy secretary general for European affairs since December 2017, in charge of coordinating the French position on economic, financial, trade and external issues related to EU policy. He started his career at the French Institute of Statistics, then worked 10 years at the French Treasury on several issues (taxation, European affairs, labor market) and spent three years at the European Commission (DG ECFIN).
