Catherine de Vries
Dean for International Affairs and Professor of Political Science
Catherine is a Dean of International Affairs, Professor of Political Science at Bocconi University, and co-chair of the University’s International Advisory Council together Vittorio Colao (Vice-Chairman EMEA, General Atlantic). Before joining Bocconi, Catherine held professorships at the University of Oxford, VU University Amsterdam and visiting posts at UCLA. Next to her academic activities, Catherine serves as a member of European Integration Committee of the Dutch Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs and on the boards of several European universities. In 2013, she was selected a Young Global Leader in the World Economic Forum for her service to society.
