Thomas Mramor
Thomas Mramor is a Research Assistant at Bruegel. He is working on energy and climate topics.
He is primarily interested in the intersection of climate policy and macroeconomics. In his master’s thesis, he empirically investigated the efficacy of the European Union Emissions Trading System on environmental and labour market outcomes.
Thomas speaks German and English.
Before joining Bruegel, he worked as a statistical analyst at the Central Bank of Austria, where he contributed to a large-scale project utilising novel machine learning and natural language processing models. He holds a master’s degree in Advanced Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.
