Nina Vujanović
Nina Vujanović is an Affiliate Fellow at Bruegel, where she leads research projects on the economic implications of EU enlargement.
Her expertise lies at the intersection of international economics and industrial organisation. She investigates the effects of foreign direct investment and trade on firm technological growth and innovation. Nina's co-authored work has been regularly published in peer-reviewed journals.
She speaks English, Montenegrin and Russian.
Previously, she was a research economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the World Bank. Prior to that, she was an adviser to the Vice-Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro, an economist at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies, and a consultant to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Nina holds a master's in Science in Economic Policy from University College London and a PhD in Economics from the University of Staffordshire, marked with distinction.
