Mateusz Szczurek
Member, European Fiscal Board
Mateusz Szczurek is a member of the European Fiscal Board, the Lead Economist for at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and an adjunct professor at the Warsaw University. He served as the Polish Minister of Finance in the previous two governments in 2013-2015. Named Europe’s Finance Minister of the Year 2015 by The Banker magazine, he has a PhD from University of Sussex, having also studied at Warsaw and Columbia University.
