
Martin Taschner

Dr. Martin Taschner studied law in Hamburg, Aix-en-Provence and Louvain-La-Neuve. After having worked with law firms in Germany he joined the European Commission in 2004, where he worked in different positions in DG Communication and DG European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO). In 2018 he was appointed as Head of Unit in DG ECHO and in 2022 as Head of Unit for Migration Management Preparedness in the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs.
