Lukáš Veselý

Deputy Head of Unit for Ukraine’s Reconstruction and Accession, European Commission, DG ENEST

Lukáš Veselý is Deputy Head of Unit for Ukraine’s Reconstruction and Accession at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood. His main focus is on supporting public and private investments through EU guarantees and blended finance under the Ukraine Investment Framework.

Previously he worked on EU economic, employment and social policies as a Member of Cabinet of Commissioner László Andor and adviser to MEP Maria João Rodrigues. Upon obtaining an MPhil in Contemporary European Studies from the University of Cambridge, his first professional steps took place at the EBRD and EIB.

He speaks English, Czech and also some French, German, Dutch, Georgian and Ukrainian.
