Lene Mandel Vensild

Ambassador for EU’s Foreign and Security Policy (PSC representative), Danish EU Representation in Brussels, Belgium, Permanent Representation of Denmark to the EU

Lene Mandel Vensild is Denmark’s ambassador to the EU’s Political and Security Committee (PSC). She holds a degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen and has over two decades of experience in foreign affairs. Her roles have included coordinating EU policies, serving as a minister-counsellor in Washington D.C., and leading Denmark’s global division in the Prime Minister’s Office. She began her PSC role in 2024, representing Denmark in EU foreign and security matters.
