Lefteris Tserkezis
Head of the Macroeconomic Policy and Forecasts Division, Ministry of Finance, Greece
Lefteris Tserkezis has worked at the at the Council of Economic Advisors of the Greek Ministry of Finance since 2019, where he serves as the head of the Macroeconomic Policy and Forecasts Division. In the past, he has worked as an advisor to the Secretary General for Fiscal Policy, as well as at the Ministry’s Directorate for State Guarantees. Prior to joining the Ministry of Finance, he worked mainly with the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research in Athens. He is a graduate of the Department of Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and he has received an M. Phil. and a Ph.D. in economics from the same university.
