Leena Mörttinen
Permanent Under-Secretary for International and Financial Markets Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Finland
Leena Mörttinen is Permanent Under-Secretary for International and Financial Markets Affairs and former Director General (Financial Markets Department) at the Ministry of Finance. She also acts as the Vice Chairperson at the Board of Fingrid Oyj and is Board member at the Arctia.
She has a doctoral degree in Economics from the University of Helsinki.
Before joining the Finance Ministry she worked at the European Central Bank (Senior Economist), the Bank of Finland (Advisor), Nordea Bank (Chief Economist (Finland) and Director for European Affairs), the Confederation of Finnish Industries (Director, Competiveness and growth) and the Finnish Family Firms Association (Executive Director).
