Larry Waknine
Larry joined Bruegel’s Development Team from February 2025 to February 2026 as Development Assistant. He holds a Master’s degree in politics from New York University and specialises in Political Economy. Larry’s past professional experiences include policy research and advocacy, as well as communications. He has had internship experiences at the UN and at the European Parliament. Before his graduate studies, he worked in the financial sector and at the Brussels International Center on policy issues related to the Middle East and North Africa.
A French-Belgian bi-national, Larry is a native French speaker, is fluent in English, and has some working knowledge of Spanish.
