Jenny Leonard writes about economic statecraft for Bloomberg News. Before relocating to Germany in April 2025, she spent more than a decade in Washington, DC. As a White House correspondent for Bloomberg, she covered the presidencies of Donald Trump and Joe Biden, with a particular focus on international economics and national security matters. Jenny is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and Humboldt University in Berlin.
