Griffith Couser

Griffith Couser is the Editorial Officer at Bruegel, where he works closely with the Senior Editor and Communications Team. He is a US and Irish citizen. In his 10 years living in Brussels, he has worked in media, events, consulting, project management and policy communication in journalism, international secretariats and think tanks - including the German Marshall Fund of the United States and the European Policy Centre. Griffith has worked as an editor and author for newsletters, project reports, policy briefings and research publications for government, academic and public audiences. He is a native English speaker and has a working knowledge of French.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Washington, a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from Uppsala University, a certificate of Business Management from Harvard Business School and is currently a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Lapland. His research interest is primarily concerned with the international political economy of the Arctic.
