Benoît Esnault
Vice-Chair, Gas working group, Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER)
Benoît Esnault is head of interconnections and European networks at the French Regulatory Commission, CRE. He is vice-chair of CEER/ACER gas working group and chair of the MedReg electricity working group. He has got a long experience of European regulatory development in gas, electricity and infrastructure. He was involved in all the cross-border cost allocation procedures dealt with by CRE and contributed to the debates on the implementation and reforms of the TEN-E guidelines. Before joining CRE, he was a post doc researcher at the University of Paris Dauphine and senior economist at the Observatoire Méditerranéen de l'Energie (OME).
