Annamaria Lusardi
Annamaria Lusardi is a Non-resident Fellow at Bruegel. She specialises in financial education and literacy.
Her research covers personal finance, public policy, applied economics and entrepreneurship.
She speaks English and Italian.
Annamaria is Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), and the Academic Director of Stanford’s Initiative for Financial Decision-Making (IFDM). She is also Professor of Finance (by courtesy) at the Graduate School of Business. Previously, she was University Professor at the George Washington University and, before that, she was the Joel Z. and Susan Hyatt Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College, where she started her academic career. She has also taught at Princeton University, the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Columbia Business School. She holds a PhD in Economics from Princeton University and an honorary doctorate from the University of Vaasa in Finland.
