Alexandre Mendonça
Alexandre Mendonça is an Affiliate Fellow at Bruegel. He specialises in labour markets, technological progress and inequality.
He speaks Portuguese and English.
Previously, Alexandre worked as a Supervision Analyst at the Single Supervisory Mechanism, as a Trainee at the European Central Bank's Directorate General Research and as an Intern at Banco de Portugal's Markets and Reserve Management Department. He was also a Teaching Assistant at the Nova School of Business and Economics, and at the Stockholm School of Economics, where he taught courses on Calculus, Data Analysis and Probability, and Macroeconomics. Alexandre holds a PhD in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
