Alenka Jerkič

Alenka Jerkič was Assistant Director of the Analysis and Research Department and then Director of Financial Statistics Department in the central bank of Slovenia. Later she worked in the Department of Macroeconomic Analysis and Public Finance and later also in the Budget Department in the Ministry of Finance. For more than ten years she was a member of the EFC Alternates committee and member of the Financial Counsellors group in the Council of EU. She was elected Member of the Fiscal Council of Slovenia in March 2017 and in December 2021 re-elected for next five years.
