Lynda Sanderson

Lynda Sanderson is an Economist in the Productivity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division of the OECD Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation. Prior to joining the OECD in November 2019, Lynda has held research positions at the New Zealand Treasury, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. She has published in areas including trans-Tasman migration, the dynamics of exporting and firm performance, and the impacts of foreign direct investment. Lynda’s recent work has involved using Statistics New Zealand’s Integrated Data Infrastructure to examine the links between firm and employee characteristics, firm performance and behaviour, and employee outcomes. Her role at the OECD focuses on the use of firm level data for cross country analysis, through the MultiProd and DynEmp projects.
