Unequal wealth: Policy implications for the European Union
On 29 January 2026, Zsolt Darvas delivered a presentation to the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs of the European Parliament on the policy implications of wealth inequality. Drawing on earlier Bruegel research (see here and here), he focused on five main policy areas: wealth data and transparency, financial literacy, wealth and inheritance taxation, housing and social policies, and gender wealth gaps.
