Ukraine is facing a very tense economic situation. The current account deficit, the fiscal stance, the banking system and a potential trade shock risk turning the simmering downturn into a profound economic crisis. At this lunchtalk, Ricardo Giucci, Head of the German Advisory Group in Ukraine, presented his assessment of the macro-economic stance of the country and discuss solutions how to overcome them. Nadia Tsok commented on the assessment, before the floor was opened for Q&A.
