In March 2023 several banks failed in quick succession, causing the most significant system-wide banking stress since the Great Financial Crisis. The bank failures triggered a lack of confidence in the banking system and reawakened debates on banking policy. At this event we looked back at the root causes of the crisis and discuss what lessons can be drawn to mitigate risks in the future.
