Q&A
16:45-17:00Last December, the EU decided to offer Ukraine new financial assistance of €90 billion via the Ukraine Support Loan. That followed the discussion of an alternative Reparations Loan scheme taking advantage of the immobilization of the Bank of Russia’s reserves held in the EU, which was proposed by the European Commission but eventually not retained. How is the Ukraine Support Loan being implemented, including in terms of policy conditionality? What will come after it is fully used, as is expected to happen in the course of 2027?
