Inclusive growth and competitiveness in Europe

On 21 March Bruegel, together with the EIB and the World Economic Forum are organising an event to launch the White Paper on inclusive growth and competitiveness in Europe.

This paper comes up with recommendations for action including accelerating public-private mechanisms for technology diffusion, fostering digital social innovation and investing in smart transport infrastructure, and leveraging non-traditional sources of financing. A series of practical examples have been collected so as to serve as ideas for implementation through public-private collaboration.

The event will feature keynote addresses from Werner Hoyer, President (European Investment Bank), Richard Samans (Managing Director, World Economic Forum) and Guntram B. Wolff (Director, Bruegel)

The launch event , panel and discussion will take place on Tuesday 21 March 2017 from 14h00 to 15h00 at the EIB Brussels Office, Rond-Point Robert Schuman 6, 3rd floor, 1040 Brussels.
