Europe must increasingly deal with the harmful impacts of climate change, regardless of its success in reducing emissions. These impacts have significant cross-border effects and threaten to deepen existing divisions. Based on a recent Bruegel publication on the subject, this event aimed at fostering a fresh conversation on how the EU climate adaptation policy can be strengthened in order to tackle more effectively this existential challenge.
