The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) has become the reference global bodies for sustainability-related disclosures by companies to meet the needs of the investor community. Since its initiation four years ago, its standards have been adopted widely but the political context has also changed with the US turn against climate action and the EU emphasis on reducing compliance burden.
