Bruegel Annual Meetings | 3-4 September 2025
The 2025 Annual Meetings were centred around Bruegel's 20th anniversary
Single recordings of each public session are also available in the Agenda section of this webpage, listed under their respective sessions.
In 2025 our Annual Meetings were organised in the frame of our 20th anniversary celebrations. Two decades after Bruegel’s founding, many of the issues Europe faces remain the same, with added pressing issues: the threat to the international rules-based order, the inescapable effects of climate change and the rapid development of AI. What can we expect to see in the next 20 years? What are the most urgent actions we need to take to ensure a prosperous and safe future for Europe and the rest of the world? How can we face the threats of today in a way that moves us towards building a better future rather than just avoiding a worst-case scenario?
