Valeria Talbot

Valeria Talbot, Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Mediterranean and Middle East Programme at ISPI. She also is Lecturer of History and Institutions of the Middle East at the IULM University in Milan. She is member of the Scientific Committee of the Med Think 5+5. She was member of the steering committee and ISPI national director of Arab Trans (2013-2016), a FP7 funded consortium on political and social transformations in the Arab world. Her main expertise covers: Euro-Mediterranean relations; Turkey’s domestic and foreign policy; Gulf Cooperation Council. She has contributed to a variety of research projects and published a number of papers, articles and book chapters.
