Raphael Hogarth

Research Associate, The Institute for Government,

Raphael is a Research Associate of the Institute, working on infrastructure policy and Brexit. He is also a leader writer at The Times, where he writes on domestic policy issues and both national and international politics. He is an occasional comment writer for The Spectator and book reviewer for The Times Literary Supplement.

Before starting work at The Times and the Institute, Raphael was an intern at Demos, researching online campaigning and electoral regulation in the 2015 General Election. He holds a first-class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
