Joanna Kokot

Joanna Kokot is a senior auditor in Chamber I of the European Court of Auditors, which is responsible for the audit of EU policies on natural resources, environmental issues, and health. She has been working at the Court for over 12 years, especially in the field of environmental and health policies. She carried out performance audits of health related policies, including, as a Head of Task, the recent performance audit on EU actions for cross-border healthcare access: Special Report 7 from 2019: EU actions for cross-border healthcare: significant ambitions but improved management required and as a Deputy Head of Task, the performance audit on the EU framework for dealing with serious cross-border threats to health in the EU: Special Report no 28 from 2016: Dealing with serious cross-border threats to health in the EU: important steps taken but more needs to be done.
