Elisa joined Bruegel in January 2022 as a Development intern. She holds a Master degree in International Sciences, with a curriculum focused on European Studies, from the University of Siena, Italy. She is particularly interested in the role played by economic relations in partnership between nations, and in their influence on political choices, as a matter of fact she wrote her master's thesis on the role of the IMF and its intervention in Argentina in 2018.
While studying, she did an internship with her university for the Centre for Study of Political Change (CIRCaP).
She is native in Italian, fluent in English, and has a good knowledge of French. She also speaks some Spanish and German.
