Daniel Mayer

Project Coordinator

Daniel supports the Development Team as Project Coordinator, to realise Bruegel's partnership and fundraising activities. His work entails both the coordination of private and publicly funded projects as well as the development of Bruegel's membership base.

Before joining Bruegel, Daniel was managing EU-funded projects in the Capacity Building Team at BEUC - The European Consumer Organization. Prior to that, he was a trainee at the European Parliamentary Research Service and the European Cyclists' Federation. He has been engaged in civil society advocacy both voluntarily and professionally in Vienna and Brussels.

Daniel is an Austrian citizen, holds a Masters degree in International relations and European Union Studies from Leiden University and BA in Development Studies from the University of Vienna. He is a native German speaker, fluent in English and has basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
